Introduction

The client, one of London’s most delicious Lebanese food restaurants empowers its wonderful Mediterranean thematic including a beautiful open garden next to the riverside with live music events every day of the week.

Project brief

The client wanted to enhance its old video and music system bringing multi zone distribution linked to the concerts stage’s audio, as well as an easy way for the staff to control it. All that under the main request of keeping costs under control was brought by AVITHA with an affordable yet high quality solution using Control4 as the core of the system.

AVITHA achieved a complete and well driven solution at the most affordable level.

Technical Overview

The technologies that allowed to achieve maximum quality yet at affordable costs are highlighted below:

4 zones, including 1 live music stage distributed to the rest of zones.

AV was composed of 1 zone with 7 Samsung TVs on which Sky, Arabsat and Apple TV were displayed.

– The music system made from Control4 controller, Triad matrix and multi zone amplifier, Yamaha mixer and JBL speakers were commissioned to play different sources of music to each of its 4 zones, including music from the live stage concerts, AirPlay, a local server and the video sources.

Control4 system had to allow the staff to easily and quickly control the music and video distribution.

Ubiquiti data network had to connect the AV and music systems, PCs, printers, CCTV, EPOS and PDQs and also bring a strong WiFi connection throughout the whole restaurant.

Challenges & Innovations

The client’s request to distribute the audio from the live music concerts to any area was a valued success, achieved thanks to a precise delay management up to the millisecond and a perfect synchronisation between the Yamaha mixer and the Triad matrix.

An easy and timeless operation of the system from managers’ iPads and iPhones reduced the time spent on daily system set up and the room for mistakes to almost 0%. Letting the staff and managers to focus on tasks that really matters for them, bringing an excellent service to their guests.

The network setup has reached an immaculate level of quality, having seen the downtime on operations due to network issues reduced to a nonexistent value.
